This Week 2 ~May 24 ~ May 30 /2011

Okay...Today I started the 2 main adult lessons for the week....

"Elliot 10" & "Devil Card 2"

"Elliot 10"
This week I would like you all to be a bit more chatty so I have added a lot more conversation questions to the lesson...Of course these questions will just pop up during the lesson....so be ready!

OK...Just to give you a chance to think...and to maybe "WOW ME"...I have included a few questions and subjects that we will talk about this week...

We will review "talk into".

We willl talk about marriage:
Around what age do Japanese people get married?
Do you think it is better to be single or to be married when you are young?
And of course....Why do you think so?

We will talk about money:
Have you ever bought a lottery ticket?
If you actually won the lottery, what would you buy?

We will talk a bit about politics:
Why has the prime minister changed so many times in the last few years?
If you could become the prime minister of Japan for a short time, what would you change?

Spain and Bullfighting:
What happens at a bullfight?
Why do some people love bullfights?
Why do some people hate them?
Should it be banned...Why? or Why not?

Living abroad:
If you could live in another country, what country would you like to live in?
What country wouldn't you like to live in?

Comparatives from Page 99 of the Textbook....

"Devil Card 2"
I don't think there should be any big surprises in this lesson.  This lesson will be more structured (くみたてられている) and it won't have as much imagination in it as the "Elliot 10" lesson.
Below are some things to think about before class....

We will review "talk into".

We will talk about Nobita's future:
What will happen after he graduates from high school....

University:
If you could, would you like to go back to university?
What would you like to major in?

Your first job:
Was your first job a full-time job or a part-time job?
How was it?

Fires:
We will see a video and talk about a man who has a fire at home.  We will talk about what to do in the event of a fire and how to get out in one piece.

Don't want to spoil the surprise....Good luck this week!
