Christmas Vacation.....

    Review our 1st "kankei daimeishi" ~ in + the + meishi = wearing
    We will practice "~shite itadakemasen ka?" ~ Would you mind + doushi + ing
    We will do some more cooking practice....This week "GYOZA"

Week 37....New Adjective List....

Starting from Wednesday....For the 1st time in 10 weeks, we will have adjective review....

Well...The meeting at the bank is about to end and Miyata would like to go to a beer garden...

He will invite Kawakami to go with them...but was surprised to hear Kawakami say "No!".

One of the things we will study/review next week is

How to invite someone to do something with... "Would like you like to ...."

How to decline an invitation using.... "I would like to but......"

Adjective Worksheet...Answers

Good evening everyone...

A few students asked me to post a list of answers for the adjective review sheet...

Well....Here it is...

Study hard....

My battle with "草”..."Weeds"...

During the summer vacation....it rained a lot.

And....Every time it rained, new weeds appeared in the garden and parking lot at Canadian Voice.
So... Almost every day during the summer vacation I went outside to pull weeds (草取り)

I had a tough time pulling out the weeds that were between the bricks.

But...Last weekend... A student recommended that I buy needle nose pliers (ピンチ) from Watahan.

What a great idea....!!!

I couldn't wait to try them.

And... .Last Sunday I kicked some ass with those pliers...

Take a look!  The pliers fit nicely between the bricks...

I just grabbed the weed....and....

Voila!! Sayonara weed!

Once I started I couldn't stop...Ayako sensei and I pulled a lot of weeds that day...

Just take a look at the nice, clean bricks and the garbage bag next to Ayako...

I was feeling really happy but...

Just before we finished... it started to rain again... and so I guess when I come back on Wednesday the parking lot will be covered in weeds again...

Long time no BLOG.... Osusowake Week 24

Wow...
I have been pretty busy the last few weeks...and I haven't put up any new posts....
Well...It is summer vacation and so...

Here are a few notes from a few weeks ago...

Week 20....Osusowake....

This week we will meet a businessman whose name is Mr. Brown.

Mr. Brown works for a bank in America but....he was transferred to the Shanghai branch.

While he was working at the Shanghai branch, his boss will send him to Chungking on a business trip.

In Chungking, Mr. Brown needs to meet some Chinese businessmen at a restaurant....

So...This week will have more restaurant and travel English practice....

Osusowake and Unagi....

Well...This week will go back to Osusowake for a little bit and then we will move into the unagi stories....

Wanko Somen ~ Week 2 / Final Week

This week we will take a look at how to make tsuyu for the somen and then we will jump back into the story...

Kato will tell Shimura that ... If he is full, he needs to put the lid on his cup...

If Shimura doesn't put the lid on his cup, Kato will keep putting somen into it..

Who is faster....Shimura or Kato..... Come and see....
