Halloween Connect the Dots...

Well....Monday was a national holiday so Ayako and I sat and relaxed at Mr. Donuts for a couple of hours.....

While Ayako was studying for the TOEIC test ... I decided to make a couple of new connect-the-dots....

This time they are Halloween alphabet connect-the-dots....

Anyways....enjoy....

This Saturday is a national holiday as well...What should I make this weekend?

Here is the extra "せつめい” for the relative pronoun...

In class we practiced this pattern this way and it helped a lot of people to understand ....

Do you still remember how we did it?

I asked you:

How many hair colours are there?

*There are 5 hair colours.

How about hair styles?  How many hair styles are there?

*There are 4 hair styles.

And eye colours? How many eye colours are there?

*There are 4 eye colours.

Next we made a "base" sentence....

"Chris はその男の人です” = Chris is the man

Then you chose either...

With  =   (特徴)  characteristics

in  =  (着ている) wearing

And finally you made a sentence .....

For example: 

Characteristics ~ Chris is the man with blonde hair.

Characteristics ~ Chris is the man  with  curly blond hair.

Characteristics ~  Chris is the man  with  green eyes.

Wearing ~ Chris is the man in the glasses.

Wearing ~  Chris is the man in the blue shirt.

Wearing ~ Chris is the man in the white tie.

Mikey Vs Nick ~ Week 4...

Well...Mikey and Nick are still enjoying the "人生 game" and so are we....

Playing the game in class has been a big success and it has also been a lot of fun.

I was very surprised at how many good topics came up...and even more surprised at some of the great answers.

I really liked it when students sang the "Happy Birthday" song or the "Wedding" song when someone landed on "Happy Birthday" or "Get married"...


Today's notes are actually more notes from last week.. But don't worry ... .I will make some more again soon...
